Hypnotized by facebook, just barley finished my task in the dungeons and made it to the Kroger pick... Kookie barking all the way in and someone at the pickup was talking to her :)
Too early to tell if the pills will work for her, hope so they cost more than mine.
When I got to the park a bunch of friends were playing volley ball. I really wanted to get a pic of em.. but didn't ask.

They were just leaving when I came down... A bunch of pals n their pup the kind of memory I love to capture but.. 
Not many people there, I captured this one, thinking a good pic for a photoshop image.

I was gonna do a shot of these guys in my magic spot but they couldn't make their flash work.. I am posting both to show the difference in no flash.. n magic flash #risingpark

Kookie has been having a bad time and I went to town to get her meds last night.

When I got home to take stuff in the house, I came back and she vanished... panic dark n couldn't see anything, finally I tracked down people I didn't know and they had her.. wouldn't take any money.

She has seizures and it is scary as hell but when they are over she is as dingy as ever. I would hate to go to Mt. P. and her have one on top.. guess I would just call 911 or put er in 4 wheel drive and go up the trail. In an old pic of Mr. Rising and his wife, she was driving a Studebaker on the trail coming down.

Kookie is so excited when she is riding in back, she barks all the way to town. It won't happen in this life but in the next one I want to get a girlfriend that sticks her head out the window n barks :)

A blind photographer I am. 20/200 in my left eye and my right eye has a lens implanted so I can drive with out glasses but can't see anything close. When I take pics of people with their phone cameras I just try to get all the fuzzy heads in the frame and tell em to turn the flash on... so when people show me pics on cameras .. duh :)

If you have ever been to the eye doc, they have the thingy you put your face in and they move wheels to adjust to your sight. That is what my camera has so I can see what I am taking pics of :)

Starting up the trail I saw these guys climbing down the hill thinking I might get a pic of a tumble.. nope but asked em for a pic

Through the years I have asked gobs of strangers to take their pic. A few decline but once in a while I did good :)

First I took a candid shot of these guys sitting on the rocks n then asked em for a pic. One was from here and his pal was visiting from Utah .. brining him to our perch to share the magic view.

Before them I saw a man and woman gazing from the rail and asked em if they wanted a pic using their camera and they were delighted.

Not from far away but from Pickerington, but the first time they had came here and loved it.

Taking pics of strangers is kind of like going to a dance. You never know who will turn you down, who will just be nice or who will hop around the room with you.

Those who are willing n those who are brave enough to pet my monster puppy are those who make my day.

I had to go to town early today then went up to Mt. P. in the morning. No one there at first so I played with settings on my camera for a bit then spotted the dandelions, crying out take a photo of us :) 
When the yellow flowers are playing n the lighting bugs are blinking.. it is my favorite time of the year.

You ask why are these in focus and the city is a blur .. depth of field

I saw these guys spread out taking pics on the way up and asked if they wanted a pic with all of em.
I did a couple with their camera but the phone flash so weak so I used mine.
After getting a bad reflection a couple days ago I remembered the magic trick. 
If u r shooting bullets against a concrete wall it might come back and hit you in the nose, so I told the glasses girl to turn a bit of an angle and look my direction... worked great.

I saw a couple I took pics before but this guy made my day. Years ago I was in the park on the first snow with PuppyDog.. not a monster like Kookie. She was my photographer ambassador, she loved people but gentle.

In 2012 a batch of kids wanted to give her pets and I asked em if they were afraid of dogs.. 

For years I never did know any of them it was cold and they  had those sock masks over their face.. The guy that came up tonight told me he was one of the boys.. a kid then now much bigger than me. |

On top I saw a guy n his baby boy and took a pic of them together with his camera.

I had a vet appointment today and when I got in it was the wrong time and I did not have a phone. When I tell someone I am gonna do something.. I am always on time n do it.

So I went to the park and came back was gonna leave Kookie but no one to talk to and no phone.. so I made another appointment.

When we got on top I didn't see anyone till we walked over to the north end. I was trying to get a candid shot of these guys and had to wait till they were in position so I would capture their faces.

No exercise today so likely a two Mt. P. visits I have another appointment at 6:00 tonight

At post 32 using flash, the closer you are the more effect of the flash in the day time.. with this lighting the eyes r visible #risingpark

Waiting for a day with blue skies and puffy clouds but here I practiced the framing to include the buildings left and the cemetery right #risingpark

On the way back I saw this guy and took a candid but then went for the perfect framing. I got close sat on the ground n took a couple shots n used flash.

He said he was working from here today :)

I had to go to the pill store.. it was pouring down rain but after I got out of Krogers n headed for CVS it was looking ok. To Lowes to get a trash can then to the park.
This girl parked beside us but was much faster getting up the hill n I took this candid pic of her. I used an effect to make it look kind of like a painting.

Before heading to the park I like to do a pic with Kookie, I have a wall about 4' high she sits on then I use a little fill in flash. You see she is darker because the distance from the flash.
I like to include one of my cool cars in the background but the lawn mower was the best thing I had. Again this year it won't keep running... need billy goats I guess
